Note from JobFairy.com: Attending, on the one hand, more or less says "I'm not employed". But it never hurts to sign up and throw your resume in the bucket. Often recruiters will go through the CD that they'll send out made from the registered people and their resumes and follow up with them first so as to get their money's worth. Several Fairies have gotten hired using job fairs so they're effective... sometimes. Wear comfortable shoes yet look presentable. These events always favor those who have outgoing personalities.
