New Addition

This is a trial to see if it works well and if people like it. I have added a Google search dialogue to the bottom of each page (in the footer part). There already is a search function on each page, but Google now indexes a sufficient portion of the site (I think) that if you query using their engine, you stand a reasonable chance of finding what you want. This was not previously the case. I first added it in mid-2000, and I wasn't happy with the results. (They didn't index the site very much back then.) So I went with another system. However, I like the Google toolbar, and the drawback of the other system is that once you search for a term, you have to do a CTRL+F and put the term back in to find it within the page. Using Google's toolbar, you click on the term again in the toolbar and it takes you there. For now, I'm keeping both. Google doesn't do a site map, and the current one does. And there are no guarantees that Google will index the entire site on a regular basis. And certain things I do with server side includes seem to stump Google. However, I'm thinking of keeping both.
