You say Dot NET, they say .NET

Is this a valid new technology, fancy marketing hype, or a solution in search of a problem? You be the judge. However, it's the latest and greatest, and if you have it in your resume, recruiters will love you. Don't worry if you don't completely understand it. Recruiters won't, and 98% of the time, your hiring manager won't either. (Hint: It's just web-enabled services using XML. You can do this on other platforms, with other OS's, and other technologies. Just remember that doing things the Microsoft way is usually easier but always much more expensive.) (BTW, most of this website already uses XML without any help from Bill and the boys from Redmond.)
